Software Engineer – PHP/LAMP Development

Position Type: Full-time in our office in Austin.

Epicom has grown significantly over the last year and we are seeking another full-time Software Engineer to develop Customer Relationship Management (CRM) applications for our clients and provide associated consulting, training, hosting, and support services.

The ideal candidate will primarily develop in PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL. Some Ajax techniques will also be used. Candidates must have strong communications skills, both written and verbal, as direct customer contact is a requirement of this position.

Requirements: (Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in each of the following)

• PHP
• Javascript
• SQL
• HTML
• CSS

• SVN/Git
• MVC
• XML
• Ajax
• OOD
• SugarCRM
• Linux Administration
• Experience with CRM systems
• Apache Administration
• MySQL Administration
• User Interface Design
• Graphic Design
• jQuery, YUI or another modern JavaScript framework
• A modern PHP framework (like CakePHP, CodeIgniter or Zend)
