Since joining Epicom, Amanda has implemented various marketing efforts to increase brand awareness, establish recurring communication among customers and prospects, and develop a solid marketing strategy.

Amanda has a background in graphic design, advertising, public relations and marketing. She earned her Bachelors in Advertising from Texas State University with a minor in Communication Design and her Masters in Advertising from The University of Texas.

Prior to Epicom, Amanda worked as the Regional Public Affairs Coordinator for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in Houston. While there she wrote press releases, newsletters,  and human interest stories in addition to designing graphics and logos. After her time at MDA, Amanda worked as a freelance designer and was responsible for marketing communication for several Austin companies. Her work portfolio consists of web development and design, production of marketing material, logo and ad design, billboards, newsletters, and brand management.

Amanda grew up in Houston, Texas playing soccer. Leaving the Houston Astros  behind to attend school in central Texas was difficult, but the Austin lifestyle helped with the transition.
